Line Work

Here is some recent line work assignments for mechanical props. I was not looking forward to the assignment at first, but it is surprisingly a very good way to understand an objects shape and function, adding some useful knowledge to the mental library. Take care and comments are always welcome!

coloring block in... I better watch out or that focal point may get away from me

Did this tonight in preparation for the weeks coloring. Epic is what i go for every time, and with some recent color studies, hopefully it will be awesome. I watched Shaddy Safadi's tutorials on Youtube, which are THE best tutorials I have come across, and now approach big paintings using very meticulous edge control (tons of pixel locks, layer mask, and clipping mask). Its a slow, meticulous process, but the results are a big payoff. Take care
